WHO WE ARE

About Dayli

It started with a Sunday. A friend mentioned she spends every Sunday batch cooking for the week so her work schedule doesn't eat into family time. One full day, every weekend, gone to the kitchen.

But it's not just her. Whether you're a parent, a couple juggling two careers, or someone living on your own, the choice is always the same. Cook for an hour or order another takeaway. Either way, your evening is gone.

We thought there had to be a better way.

So we built Dayli. A complete Indian meal — rice, dal, curry and a side dish — in one tray, delivered to your door. Not a random assortment of food in a box. A proper meal, the way Indian families eat at home. Four compartments, each one chosen by you from over 60 dishes.

Every meal is cooked the way you would at home. Real spices, fresh ingredients, recipes passed down through generations. No artificial flavours, no preservatives, no shortcuts.

WHY DAYLI

Not just meal prep. A proper meal.

🍱

Four compartments, one tray

Most meal prep gives you one dish in a box. We give you a complete meal — rice, dal, curry and a side dish — the way Indian food is meant to be eaten.

🎯

You choose every dish

Not a set menu that someone else picked for you. You build each tray, dish by dish, from over 60 options. Your week, your way.

🫕

One cuisine, done properly

We don't do jerk chicken on Monday and Korean BBQ on Wednesday. We do authentic Indian food, cooked by people who grew up eating it, using recipes handed down through families.

FOOD & QUALITY

Bold, spice-led meals cooked fresh daily. Four compartments, 680g per tray — rice, dal, curry and a side. Real ingredients, zero preservatives, handcooked by chefs who know flavour. Not factory made, not frozen, not bland.

Three things. First, every tray is a complete meal — rice, dal, curry and a side dish in four separate compartments. Not just chicken and rice in a box. Second, you build every tray yourself, choosing from over 60 dishes. Third, we specialise in one cuisine and do it properly. No jerk chicken one week and Korean BBQ the next. Just honest, authentic Indian food made the way it should be.

Always fresh. Every meal is cooked in small batches and chilled — never frozen. Your trays arrive fresh and ready to heat.

All trays have a use-by date printed on the label — typically 7 days from your delivery date. Keep refrigerated below 5°C at all times.

Remove the film lid and microwave on high for 3 to 4 minutes until piping hot throughout. Alternatively, transfer to an oven-safe dish and heat at 180°C for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not reheat more than once.

No artificial flavours, no artificial colours, no preservatives, no MSG. Every meal is made with natural ingredients only — the same way you would cook at home.

All our meat is sourced from halal-certified suppliers.

DIETARY & ALLERGENS

Yes. You can filter your entire tray by dietary preference — vegan, vegetarian, or mixed. Over half of our menu is naturally plant-based, with a wide range of curries, dals and sides made without meat or dairy.

All 14 UK major allergens are listed on every tray label, with allergens highlighted in bold as required by UK food law. You can also view allergens for each individual dish in our tray builder before you order.

Yes. Our Blood Sugar Balanced preset selects only low GI grains like millet, brown rice and quinoa, pairs them with high-fibre lentil dals, and avoids cream-based curries. Each tray stays under 120g carbs with over 8g fibre. Please consult your doctor for personalised dietary advice.

Yes. Our High Protein preset builds trays with 35g or more protein per meal. Every compartment contributes — protein-rich grains, lentil dals, chicken or lamb curries, and protein sides like kala chana or chicken fry.

Yes. Full nutritional information — calories, protein, carbs, fat and fibre — is shown for every dish in the tray builder and printed on every tray label.
